Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 May 2026
Sendsory ID ("the app") is provided by Sendsory for the exclusive use of Sendsory staff members. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Who can use the app
The app is staff-only. Accounts are issued by Sendsory and cannot be self-registered.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, work email, job title, and profile photo.
- Attendance records: timestamps when you clock in and out at a Sendsory terminal.
- Face data (optional): a mathematical descriptor (not a photo) used for on-device recognition at the terminal. The descriptor cannot be reversed into an image.
- Basic device and log data needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To identify you when you clock in or out using a QR code or face scan.
- To display your digital staff ID and Google Wallet pass.
- To manage shifts, badge requests, and internal staff resources.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not use your face data for anything beyond clock in/out matching.
- We do not store raw face images — only the on-device descriptor.
Storage and security
Data is stored in our secure backend with access restricted to authorised Sendsory staff. The QR code shown in the app rotates and is bound to your account, so it cannot be copied or reused by anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask Sendsory to view, correct, or delete your data at any time by contacting your manager or emailing privacy@sendsory.com. When you leave Sendsory, your account and face descriptor are removed.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
